Senior Lecturer since 2023 at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Huelva. She holds a Bachelor in Social Work from the University of Huelva, a Master of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Granada, and a Master of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of Tartu (Estonia). She holds two six-year research periods (sexenios) with publications in scientific journals. She is a member of the COIDESO Research Center at the University of Huelva and member of the Andalusian Sociology Association (2022-2026). She has participated as Principal Investigator and researcher in various national and regional projects. Being principal investigator in two of them. She has also participated in various transfer activities such as the K2 Project, European Researchers' Night, and the development of projects through contracts with companies for ad-hoc research. He has more than 30 publications, including 12 articles from scientific journals indexed in JCR and/or Scopus. Her research focuses on the study of social capital and governance, applied to diverse fields of study such as cross-border cooperation, mining, and more recently, urban sociology.
